Kwatsons Ghana started operations in 1985, when Ghana’s economy was facing some very tough challenges. Even through the hard times, we remained steadfast and dedicated to providing Ghanaians with affordable quality products from very trusted international manufacturers.

Ghanaians rewarded our commitment to deliver quality and in 1999, Kwatsons Electrical was incorporated to concentrate on the sale of home appliances ranging from audio and video systems to air conditioners and washing machines, among others.

We established an even larger retail outlet, the Maxmart Supermarket. Within the space of just three years, we opened two branches of the Maxmart family shopping centre in Takoradi and East Legon.
